Welcome to my new video of making Mirchi Thecha. This chatpata Maharashtrian Mirchi Thecha is sure to add a lot of taste to your meal. Thecha is a spicy condiment prepared across the states of Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and parts of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.

Ingredients for Maharashtrian Thecha
     Green Chilli - 1 bowl
     Garlic - 1/2 bowl
     Cumin Seeds - 2 tbsp
     Edible oil - 5-6 tbsp
     Salt - 4-5 tbsp

How to make Maharashtrian Thecha
1. Grind chili and garlic into a fine paste.
2. Add oil to the pan. Add cumin seeds to the pan after the oil has heated.
3. Add the chili, garlic paste to the pan after the cumin seeds have turned a little golden.
4. Roast the mixture till it has turned little red.
5. Add salt to the mixture.
